Good God, with the way that Highway 25 is now, it would be
insane to build a casino anywhere on that road.

Good God, with the way that Highway 25 is now, it would be insane to build a casino anywhere on that road.
Perhaps if they were to widen the highway to three lanes in each direction it would be satisfactory. With all the farm equipment on that road and all the traffic, it would be a nightmare!
But then, when has San Benito County or the city of Hollister done anything logical that a prudent man or woman would not do? Three thousand employees plus who knows how many thousands of guests would truly be the last straw that would bread the camel’s back.
They need to put the casino where there is easy freeway access, further south on U.S.101, near San Juan Bautista.
