Dear Editor,
Sounds like you may be blaming the railroad for the trash and
making them responsible for clean-up. We have the same problem here
in Santa Barbara. A citizen dumps trash along the tracks or on your
property and all of a sudden the land owner/railroad becomes
responsible.

I have picked-up and disposed of a number of things the general public has deposed on my property and it hasn’t made me very happy.

It is sad that our society and neighbors use others property to dispose of their unwanted items.

You find this same problem in the national forest and elsewhere in our country. It is a sad commentary on the state of affairs. People show very little respect for the property of others.
