James Hernandez canned a 14-foot jumper at the buzzer Thursday as the Titans edged RMD Construction 36-34 in Men’s E League adult basketball play at Solorsano Gymnasium.

Gary Christensen dropped in seven points as the Titans advanced to 2-0 atop the seven-team standings for the second half of the campaign. Eduardo Gamboa delivered 13 points for the Builders.

Rocha’s Drywall kept pace at 2-0 with a 46-32 nod over the Bucketeers. Teddy Jackson struck for 18 points and Brice Hall worked the paint for 10 more for the Drywallers. Brian Marshall hit three three-point field goals on the way to 15 markers for the Bucketeers.

The Eagles opened the second half with a 41-20 decision over Rush Order. Sergio Sanchez carried the Eagles offense with 20 points. Jeremy Castro led the Rush Order offense with eight points.

Mike Vanni erupted for 17 points Wednesday as New Hope Community Church turned back Gilroy Young Plants 55-46 in DD action.

Joshua Ehle converted 15 points, Vance Lee 11 for New Hope. Bill Haughney poured in 18 points for the Plants.

Mike Lazano hit seven 3-pointers to record 21 points as 2-0 Good Fellas eased past GC Farms 67-35. Emiliano Mendolla added 21 points for the Fellas, John Barrera 11. Julio Ponce paced GC Farms with nine.

Jacob Garcia’s 18 points proved enough to give 2-0 Triple Threat a 60-57 win over Toto’s Stingers-Gavilan Honda in D League play. Danny Rodriguez collected 15 points, Sig Reynisson 11 for the Threat. Andres Espinosa scored 18, Dean Friend 11 for the losers.

Bob Lemmon worked inside for 22 points to send Headstart by CordeValle 46-40. Andrew Matthews netted 10 for the Nursery, Dan Crowe 16 for the Duffers.

Mark Cisneros hit for 34 points Tuesday as 2-0 Pizza N Stuff dispatched the Big Dogs 69-64 in Men’s C action. Curtis Gibson logged 20 points, Johnny Pacheco 17 and Dan Locsin 14 for the Dogs.

Handmade Healthcare claimed a forfeit win over Eight-Ball Bail Bonds.
