No Soup 4 You advanced to 3-0 in Tuesday Men’s EE Softball League play with an 8-7 edging of Baker Pump at Las Animas Veterans Park.
Joaquin Chacon hit a triple and single to pace the Soup offense. Chacon, Fausto Padilla and Rigo Solis each plated two Soup runs. Mike Verissimo Jr. homered and Jake Verrisimo stroked three hits for Baker Pump.
The Assassins reached 2-1 with a 9-4 decision over Beer 30. Andrew Ornelas produced three hits and Rudy Maquinalez drove in two runs for the winners. Norbert Hernandez hit a two-run single and Steve Dozal scored twice for Beer 30 (1-2).
Loca Girls snapped a two-game losing streak in the Women’s Fall C League action Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park with a 14-4 verdict over Saint Louise Bruisers.
Tina Guerrero stroked three hits and Giovana Martin doubled and singled for Loca Girls. Jenny Vo hit a two-run Bruiser homer and Margie Alexander doubled and singled.
Corey’s Girls-Heavy’s Grill reached 3-0 in Women’s play with an 18-3 decision over Las Frijolitas. Eva Neibel went 4-for-4 and Krisaundra Sonnier hit a grand slam for the winners. Jamie Hall went 2 for 2 with two RBIs for the 2-1 Las Frijolitas.
Pops’ Gals edged Cal Silk Screen Printing 17-16 behind four hits from Shawna Snakenburg. Jasmine Perez went 5 for 5 for Cal Silk.
Players-HD Auto Glass is 2-0 in Men’s Wednesday DD play after a 17-10 victory over the Bash Brothers.
Joe Ojeda, Israel Vasquez and Mike Radcliff each garnered three Players hits. Tyler Osbourne homered and doubled for the Bash Brothers.
Team TF (2-0) powered past Garlic City Computer & Network 16-5 as Craig Martinez and Danny Pequeno each went 4 for 4. Willie Gamboa hit two doubles and scored two runs for the 2-1 losers.
George Martinez hit a three-run home run to guide Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors past the Borrachos 8-3. Matias Franco lined an RBI-single for the Borrachos.
Josh Dias homered and Clay Patterson collected three hits as 3-0 R&M Transportation squeaked by Gilroy Thunder 15-14 in Thursday EE play. Nate Stiles and Larry Vasquez each managed three hits for Gilroy Thunder.
Claddagh also reached 3-0 by topping Sustainable Packaging Partners 16-9. Kevin Belanger produced three hits and scored three runs for Claddagh. Fernando Orosco and George Salgado each homered for Sustainable Packaging.
OMG topped the Sweepers 19-4 as Danny Prophet and Serio Landa each homered. Alvaro Landa tripled and singled for the Sweepers.
Noah moved to 3-0 in Thursday E action with a 15-12 win over the Heathens. Adrian Burciaga scored four runs and Aaron Burciaga hit a triple, double and single for Noah. Marcus Gaeta and Danny Banderas each hit a double and two singles for the Heathens.
Gary Diaz went 5 for 5 to lift VFW Bingo by the Lost Boyz 12-10. Joel Torres and Tyler Osbourne each hit a double and two singles for the Lost Boyz.
Rick Gonzalez hit a two-run double to spark an eight-run fifth inning as Trevino Brothers Construction rallied past Extreme Air 12-6. Bryce Wilson and Rudy Rodriguez each stroked three hits for Extreme Air.
Loco Boys are 3-0 in Tuesday E play after an 11-10 decision over Fastenal. The Loco Boys erased a 10-4 deficit midway through the fifth inning, capped by Johnny Bueno’s RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh. Elias Madrid hit a three-run homer for the Loco Boys. Jose Vasquez went 3 for 3 for Fastenal.
