No Soup 4 You secured sole possession of first place in the Men’s EE Softball League Thursday with a 17-15 edging of Picassos Tattoo at Las Animas Park.

No Soup (3-0) erased a 15-10 deficit with seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Jimmy Castaneda hit a three-run double, Toby Smith an RBI-double in the Soup rally.

Johnny Castaneda homered and Fausto Padilla lined a triple and two singles for the winners. Derek Engen hit a solo home run in the seventh and Kavika Palacios collected a triple, double and single for Picassos Tattoo.

Louie & the Outlaws joined Picassos in second place at 2-1 with a 21-1 nod over the Gilroy Bombers. Dave Martinez drove in four Outlaw runs with two homers, a double and single. Mike Vasquez singled home the Bomber run.

The Assassins outlasted the Foothills 16-6 behind homers from Scott Mead and Ivan Acevedo. Jason Collins doubled and singled for the Foothills.

Trevino Brothers Construction upset the Titans 17-12 Thursday at Christmas Hill Park to create a four-team tie for first place in the Men’s E League.

Steve Garrido doubled and singled, driving in three runs and scoring twice as Trevino Brothers (2-1) struck for 13 runs in the second inning. Ryan Mull went 4-for-5 with a homer for the Builders. Vance Lee went 4-for-4, Craig Courtney 3-for-3 for the 2-1 Titans.

VFW Bingo eased past Claddagh Brew Crew 21-2 to leave both clubs at 2-1. Nick Robinson homered and Dustin Robinson scored four runs for VFW Bingo. Jake Moreno tripled and singled for Claddagh.

Ticker Baksa stroked two home runs and Henry Quistian added one in a 21-6 Lost Boyz victory over ACUS. Anthony Lewis went 2-for-2 and scored one ACUS run.

Battle Brothers moved to 4-0 in Men’s CC League play Wednesday with a 19-5 victory over New Hope Community Church at Christmas Hill.

Chris Wong homered and Charlie Duffy collected a triple and two singles for the winners. Jimmy Shrull, Marco Lopez and Steve Eddy produced RBI-singles in a four-run first for New Hope.

Pacific Coast Bail Bonds moved to 3-1 with a 20-17 squeaker over the Players-HD Auto Glass. Juan Contreras, Matt Hernandez and Steve Arriaga hit Bondsmen homers. Daniel Granados went 4-for-4 for the Players.

The Hitmen (4-0) turned back Cosa Nostra 25-7 Wednesday in Men’s C play. Neo Torres hit a pair of Hitmen homers. Pablo Perez and Peter Flores each tripled and singled for Cosa Nostra.

Shrekky’s Unit advanced to 3-1 by defeating Mountain Mike’s Pizza 22-7. Rich Perez homered and Alex Gonzalez collected four hits for the Unit. Joe Woods homered for Mountain Mike’s Pizza.
