Out 2 Play will take on second-seed Team TF Sunday Oct. 13 at 6:10 p.m. at Las Animas. Top-seed Los Pollos Hermanos plays fourth-seed Team Rush at 5 p.m. The two winners advance to the 7:20 p.m. title game.
Eddie Adame homered and Barb Lemberger went 3 for 3 for Out 2 Play (5-3).Mariah Mastroeni scored two Almost There runs.
Team Rush blanked Hi-Energy Networks 15-0 to lock up fourth place at 4-4. Danny Pequeno stroked two home runs and Giovanni Martin went 3 for 4 for Rush.
Team OMG secured the top spot in the Thursday EE League post-season with a 26-10 victory over the Sweepers. Chris Velasco scored five runs and Benny Naranjo collected five hits for 6-2 OMG.
Claddagh (6-2) finished second with an 18-3 decision over Sustainable Packaging Partners. Mike Keith hit a triple and two singles for the winners. George Salgado homered for the Packagers.
R&M Transportation netted the third spot with a 22-14 victory over fourth-seed Gilroy Thunder. Clay Eslick provided a homer, triple and single for R&M. Frank Alvernaz went 2 for 2 and scored twice for Thunder.
C&J Maintenance (5-1) held onto second place in the Thursday E League standings with a 7-2 win over Trevino Brothers Construction . Eddie Adame went 3 for 3 for C&J. Ryan Mull managed two hits for Trevino Brothers.
VFW Bingo moved to 3-3 with a 23-17 win over Extreme Air. Adam Kirkpatrick went 5 for 5 and Mike Catangay homered for Bingo. Shawn Penzo scored four Extreme runs.
Jason Trujillo went 3 for 3 to lift the Lost Boyz by Gilroy VFW Vets 11-9. Isaac Sepulveda and Joey Stefani hit homers for the Vets.
Loca Girls finished the Women’s C Division with a 5-3 record after a 14-12 verdict over Pops’ Gals. Loca Girls (5-3) will play Las Frijolitas at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park for the season title. Tina Guerrero hit a two-run triple in a six-run seventh for the winners. Alicia Reese went 4 for 4 and scored four Pops’ runs.
Las Frijolitas (5-3) turned back the Saint Louise Bruisers 18-1 behind three hits apiece from Eryka Temores and Jamie Hall. Lexy Nuno scored the Bruiser run.
Corey’s Girls-Heavy’s Gill edged Cal Silk Screen Printing 16-14 as Laura Casillas homered in a four-hit effort. Danielle Minkle earned three hits for Cal Silk. Corey’s plays Cal Silk Wednesday at 7:40 p.m. for the season crown.
The Players-HD Auto Glass advanced to 4-2 in Wednesday DD action with a 14-12 squeaker over Feather Haven. Mike Radcliff hit a double and two singles for the Players. Aaron Parker went 3 for 3 with a sacrifice fly for Feather Haven.
The Bash Brothers (4-2) topped the Borrachos 18-16 as Joe Cano and Tyler Osbourne hit home runs. Danny Melendez hit a homer, triple and single for the Borrachos.
Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors (3-4) defeated Blacktop Bombers 27-2 as John Hagins hit a grand slam. Benji Sanchez scored five runs. Mike Stanley hit an RBI-triple for the Bombers.
The Loco Boys (7-1) won a doubleheader Tuesday in the E League action, defeating AJM Plastic Surgery 12-8 and Those Guys 14-12. The Loco Boys face Those Guys Tuesday Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Christmas Hill in their playoff game. Fastenal, the second seed, outlasted Inglorious Batters 24-17.  Â
