game at Christmas Hill Park.
GILROY – Trillo-Dee’z Nutz captured the Men’s BB Softball League first-half title Wednesday by edging D-Boyz 13-12 in a tiebreaker game at Christmas Hill Park.

D-Boyz forced the extra game by defeating Trillo-Dee’z 16-6 in the final game of the first half, leaving both clubs at 4-2. Tomas Carrillo homered in a 4-for-4 showing for D-Boyz. Memo Lopez homered for the losers.

Trillo-Dee’z took a 10-7 lead in Wednesday’s finale with a four-run rally in the bottom of the fourth inning. Consecutive one-out doubles by Bobby Reggiani and Lopez keyed the outburst.

D-Boyz countered with a four-run fifth that featured consecutive RBI-doubles from George Salgado and Danny Pequeno. After Trillo-Dee’z regained the lead at 12-11 in a two-run Gino Martinez homer in the sixth, Salgado created a tie in the top of the seventh when he singled and scored on an error. Consecutive singles by Reggiani, Lopez and Ryan Dequin earned Trillo-Dee’z the winning marker in the seventh.

All 4 Seasons Pet Services squeaked past Mountain Mike’s Pizza of Gilroy 15-14 to win the first-half Women’s League title Wednesday at Las Animas Park.

Margene Peterson and Kelly Cummins each singled and scored in the bottom of the final inning to give All 4 Seasons the decision.

Peterson went 4-for-4, Maureen Hughes homered in a 3-for-3 effort and Bria DeLorenzo added a triple and two singles for the winners. Corey Casillas went 4-for-4 for Mountain Mike’s Pizza.

NorCal Regulators split a pair of Co-Rec B League games this week to claim the first-half title with a 5-1 mark.

Mike Catangay highlighted a six-run rally in the bottom of the sixth as the Hustlers upset the Regulators 10-9 Tuesday. Julian Rodriguez hit a home run and three singles for the Regulators.

NorCal rebounded with a 19-6 win over Gamers In Control Wednesday. Daniel Salinas went 4-for-4 with a homer and Cap Capulin produced a homered and two doubles for the winners. Rick Trujillo stroked a homer and two singles for the Gamers.

Catangay went 5-for-5 and Isaac Almanza homered to help the Hustlers past JR’s Crew 26-11 Wednesday. Joleen Carrasco hit a triple and two singles for the Crew.

JR’s Crew stopped Gamers In Control 26-7 Tuesday behind two Clint Miner homered and a four-hit showing by Mark Terrill.

Dirty Dozen won the first-half Men’s C title at 6-0 Tuesday by topping CSM 14-7.

Art Garcia sparked the Dozen offense with a double and two singles. Mitch MacVicar stroked a triple and two singles for CSM.

Justin Nicholson ripped a homer, triple and single to lead DS Builders by This Is It 19-11. JR Hernandez went 5-for-5 for This Is It.

Jesse Silva went 4-for-4 to spark Maniosos past Who’s Next 23-8. Brandon Cousins went 4-for-4 and Daniel Hinojos scored four runs for Who’s Next.
