Robert ”Bob” Sigl died Monday, July 5, 2004. He was 42.
A native of Corona, Bob worked for TDN Electric in Sunnyvale as a third generation electrician. He was raised in San Jose, graduated from Branham High School and West Valley College and the Santa Clara County JATC and a member of IBEW Local #332. He also was a member of the Gilroy Presbyterian Church.
He was a loving husband, father, son-in-law, neighbor and fellow Harley rider.
Mr. Sigl is the husband of Karen Thomas Sigl of Gilroy; father of Bradley and Jennifer Sigl, both of Gilroy; son of the late Rey and Olive Sigl; son-in-law of Marvin and Roxie Thomas of Gilroy; brother of Dan Sigl, and his wife, Barbara of Fresno, Bill Sigl, and his wife, Linda of San Jose, and Nancy Barley of Bailey’s Harbor, Wisc.; brother-in-law of Katie Reed, and her husband, Richard of Camas, Wash., and Kathy Thornton, and her husband, Jim of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. He also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at the Gilroy Presbyterian Church under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
A college fund for the Sigl children has been established and donations may be directed to Tim Fortino c/o Edward Jones, 8060 Santa Teresa Blvd, #140, Gilroy, CA 95020.
