Mr. Schwartz met his wife while attending Colorado College where he played semi-pro baseball and graduated with an engineering degree.
He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and served in World War II as a Naval aviator in the South Pacific. His favorite hobbies were golf and tennis.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Peggy; loving children, Donna and husband Tom Hawkinson of Pleasanton, Randall Schwartz and wife Diane of Salinas, Jan and husband Jimmy Ghiorso of Discovery Bay, Barbara and husband Jim Randleman of San Jose, and Rick Schwartz and wife Tricia of Gilroy; grandsons, Graham, Ryan, Daniel, Eric Mike, Matt, Robby and Davey; and cherished dog Megan.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 11:30am at Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Oak Hill Funeral Home, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose.
