Dear Editor,

This message is in response to your May 2 article titled ‘Pink roses a problem,’ in which three students where suspended for having pink roses at school. I think that this is a shame.

I think that in some ways the staff outside that patrols the students can be unfair as well. I have seen this myself. For example, I have a son that goes to the high school. One kid almost hit my son in front of the vice principal.

He did nothing. Why not? When something does happen, the vice principal goes to the other side. They say the students are wrong, but I think that the staff is wrong as well. But of course the schools are always trying to cover up. There’s a lot more that I know.
