Rowell-Munger
Christopher Munger and Rebecca Rowell have announced their engagement to be married. Chris is the son of Bob and Jennie Munger of Hollister. He graduated from San Benito High School, UCLA, and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York City, completing his residency in Family Practice Medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is in practice in Georgetown, South Carolina. Rebecca is the daughter of Bill and Elaine Rowell, of Blythewood, South Carolina. She is a graduate of Clemson University, South Carolina, and is a registered nurse at Georgetown Hospital. The couple will be married April 9 at Prince George Episcopal Church, Georgetown, and will make their home in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
Carruth-Edwards
Rick and Dee Carruth are pleased to announce their daughter Aubrey Anne Carruth was formally engaged to 2Lt. Brian Tyson Edwards, son of Larry and Phyllis Edwards on Dec. 3. Both Aubrey and Ty are class of 1999 San Benito High School graduates and class of 2003 University of California, Davis graduates. The couple plans to marry this summer in their hometown of Hollister. After the wedding the couple will make Hawaii their home, where Ty will fly 58D helicopters for the United States Army.

Mirsha Gonzalez
Mirsha Gonzalez, Army PFC, graduated from Basic Combat Training Aug. 5 at Ft. Jackson, S.C. She also graduated from AIT Dec. 9, at Ft. Huachuca, Ariz. She will be stationed in Oakland at 368th MIBN.
Mirsha is a 2002 graduate of San Benito High School. She is the daughter of Luz Valenzuela, granddaughter of Epifania Galindo and sister of Marco, Ulysses and Emmanuel.

Sue Dekalb
Sue Dekalb of Gilroy recently earned an award for logging 250 hours in he American Quarter Horse Association Horseback Riding Program. The program recognizes and rewards AQHA members for time spent with American Quarter Horses in activities such as trail rides, working cattle, pleasure driving and simply riding.
Nathaniel Offenberg
Nathaniel Offenberg, son of Rebecca Scheel of Gilroy and Garry Offenberg of Fremont, graduated Dec. 11 from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialty in International Relations. Nate attended Rucker Elementary and Brownell Academy in Gilroy and graduated in 2001 from Bellarmine College Prep.Â
