Mary Frances Cesco

ENGAGEMENT: Lyle/Welch: Amanda Lyle and Wade Welch are engaged to be married.
Amanda is the daughter of Michael and Lynne Lyle.
Wade is the son of John and Becky Welch.
The couple, who lives in Rohnert Park, are planning a July 25, 2013 wedding in Petaluma.

Brandon Pina
Navy Seaman Recruit Brandon S. Pina, son of Theresa J. and Brian S. Pina of Hollister, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
During the eight-week program, Pina completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
The capstone event of boot camp is “Battle Stations.” This exercise gives recruits the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the fleet. “Battle Stations” is designed to galvanize the basic warrior attributes of sacrifice, dedication, teamwork and endurance in each recruit through the practical application of basic Navy skills and the core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. Its distinctly ‘’Navy’’ flavor was designed to take into account what it means to be a sailor.     
Pina is a 2009 graduate of San Benito High School.

Estefan Takaki
Navy Seaman Recruit Estefan C. Takaki, son of Dawn C. Takaki of Aromas and Tyson A. Takaki of Murrieta, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Takaki is a 2010 graduate of Anzar High School.
JohnLuel Anggo
Air Force Airman JohnLuel A. Anggo graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Anggo is the son of Elmer Anggo of Gilroy and a 2011 graduate of Gilroy High School.

Mary Frances Cesco
Mary Frances Cesco celebrated her 101st birthday on Nov. 15.
Mary was born on Nov. 15, 1911. She is the mother of Bernice Galdos, of Hollister, and Mary Caldera, of Los Alamos. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
