The following are recent arrests recorded from the South Santa Clara County Sheriff’s arrest log.

Auto theft

-An unknown suspect(s), between May 24-28 on the 12000 block of Monterey Road at Highland Avenue in San Martin, stole a parked ranch truck.

-An unknown suspect(s), June 1 on the 10000 block of Guibal Avenue in Gilroy, stole a vehicle parked in the street.

-An unknown suspect(s), between June 3-4 on the 12000 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin, stole a vehicle parked on the street.

-An unknown suspect(s), between June 4-5 on the 17000 block of Laurel Road in Morgan Hill, stole a vehicle parked in a driveway behind the gate of a residence.

Vehicle burglary

-An unknown suspect(s), May 30 on the 100 block of North Street in San Martin, broke the front window of a vehicle and stole a purse from inside.

Burglary

-An unknown suspect(s), between June 3-6 on the 200 block of Scheller Avenue in Morgan Hill, broke the rear glass door of a residence and took various items estimated at $1,785.

Trespassing

-Frank Connors, 38, between May 26-29 on Pacheco Pass Highway at Ferguson Road in Gilroy, walked into a fruit stand and started yelling at customers, giving people the middle finger and asking for money. Sheriff’s deputy advised Connors to leave, but the suspect returned three days later and was arrested for trespassing.

Weapons possession

-Jose Elizando Morales, 44, May 29 near Monterey and Leavesley roads in Gilroy, for possession of a dagger and three outstanding warrants.

Theft by credit card

-An unknown suspect(s), between May 30-31 on the 1200 block of Harding Avenue in San Martin, made an online purchase totaling $496.98 using the victim’s credit card. The online purchase was tracked to an address in Anaheim.

-An unknown suspect(s), May 30 on the 13000 block of Colony Avenue in San Martin, purchased gift cards totaling more than $1,000 at Kohl’s in Citrus Heights, using victim’s credit card information and also attempted to open a Target credit card with victim’s personal information. The charges at Kohl’s were reversed.

Identity theft

-An unknown suspect(s), on the 15000 block of Center Avenue in Morgan Hill, used the victim’s personal identification to obtain a credit card and bought $558 worth of merchandise from Walmart.

Grand theft

-An unknown suspect(s), between June 6-7 on the 12000 block of Uvas Road in Morgan Hill, stole an unlocked mountain bike worth $1,200 from a campsite at Thousand Trail RV Park.

Petty theft

-An unknown suspect(s), June 4 on the 5000 block of Santa Teresa Avenue in Gilroy, stole a phone from a computer terminal at Gavilan College. The phone is estimated at $150.

Vandalism

-An unknown suspect(s), between May 13-17 on the 4300 block of Monterey Highway at Highway 25 in Gilroy, used black spray paint and painted the letters “CW + PW” on the American flag.

-Jason Matthew McDonald, 29, June 1 on Center Avenue at Rucker Avenue in Gilroy, for vandalism and brandishing a deadly weapon. After getting into a verbal confrontation while driving, McDonald brandished a 24-inch black machete and struck the victim’s car, causing $1,000 in damage.

False identification

-Jose Diaz Abonce, 34, June 7 on Santa Teresa Boulevard at Fitzgerald in Gilroy, for possession of a false ID and providing false information to a police officer.

Drugs

-Monica Esquibel Esparza, 51, June 1 on Church Street at Carlyle Court in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

-Jasper Manuel Del Real, 42, June 1 on Ferguson Road at Dunlap Avenue in Gilroy, for possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

-Jack Roberts Stevens, 51, June 5 on Monterey Road at First Street in Gilroy, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

-Craig Warren Sanburn, 23, June 5 on Monterey Highway at Live Oak Road in Morgan Hill, for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

-Debbie Sue Marx, 46, June 8 on Travel Park Circle at Monterey Road in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

-Roberta Sanchez Sambrano, 47, June 8 on Monterey Highway at Church Avenue in San Martin, for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

-Francisco Perez, 29, June 8 on the 13000 block of Kimble Court in San Martin, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as a parole hold.

-Samuel Marvin Schultz, 57, June 8 on San Martin Avenue at Kimble Court in San Martin, for possession of methamphetamine.

-Esther Gutierrez Polya, 46, June 9 on 10th Street at Chestnut Avenue in Gilroy, for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

-Raymond Anthony Soto, 59, on the 16000 block of Monterey Street in Morgan Hill, for possession of a controlled substance as well as a parole hold. Officers located a methamphetamine pipe, 1.6 grams of methamphetamine, and a Winchester 3030 round ammunition.

Out of state warrant

-Tucker Allen Barton, 24, June 6 on the 8100 block of Las Animas Court at El Cerrito in Gilroy, was arrested on a $50,000 warrant out of Flat Head County, Montana.

Public intoxication

-Jose Guadalupe Lara-Lopez, 42, June 7 on Murphy Avenue at Tennant Avenue in Morgan Hill, was lying unconscious on the side of the road in the dirt next to a fruit stand. He was unable to stand without assistance and swayed side to side.
