Sheriff’s blotter: Jan. 26 through Feb. 10

Auto burglary

  • An unknown suspect, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Paradise Valley Lane and Paradise Valley Court in Morgan Hill for breaking into a 2003 Honda and stealing a laptop valued at $660. The suspect is still at large.

Burglary

  • Unknown suspects, Feb. 6 at 4:25 p.m. near the 4300 block of Davidson Road at Monjar Inc. Farms in Gilroy for commercial burglary. The suspects stole irrigation tools and supply items from lockers and trailers. The suspects are still at large.
  • Unknown suspects, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. near the 2100 block of San Pedro Avenue in Morgan Hill for stealing $1,600 worth of belongings from a parked Jeep. The suspects are still at large.
  • Unknown suspects, Feb. 2 at 8:20 a.m. near the 9500 block of Sugar Babe Drive in Gilroy for residential burglary. The suspects are still at large.
  • Unknown suspects, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. at Quality RV, Boat and Vehicle Storage in San Martin for causing approximately $450 in damage and stealing approximately $700 in items. The suspects are still at large.

Drunk in public

  • Joseph Anaya, 22, Feb. 10 at 3:23 p.m. near the intersection of Redwood Retreat Road and Watsonville Road in Gilroy for being drunk in public. Anaya was found jogging and staggering along the edge of the road. He did not know where he was, what day it was or how he got there. He was booked into the main jail in San Jose.

Evading a uniformed police officer

  • Rollin Xu, 50, Jan. 28 at 6:07 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Masten Avenue in San Martin for evading a uniformed peace officer and being an unlicensed driver.

Grand theft and felony vandalism

  • Unknown suspects, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. near the 11000 block of Center Avenue in Gilroy for causing approximately $10,000 in damage while stealing $4,400 worth of circuit breakers from the breaker boxes located to the rear of the victim’s property. The suspects are still at large.

Grand theft

  • An unknown suspect, Feb. 7 at 10:10 a.m. at Odyssey Community School in San Martin took a ring estimated to be worth $10,000.

Petty theft

  • Jason Cardinale, 25, Jan. 27 at 7:45 a.m. near the intersection of Dias Drive and Center Avenue in San Martin for stealing the registration tabs from another vehicle.

Possession

  • Jarrod Corda, 40, Feb. 10 at 11:14 p.m. near the intersection of Day Road and Monterey Highway in Gilroy for possession of concentrated cannabis.
  • Javier Huerta, 34, Feb. 9 at 11:57 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Fifth Street in Gilroy for possession of methamphetamines, and possession of a dirk or dagger.
  • Emily Ward, 19, Feb. 9 at 7:20 p.m. near the 1100 block of Montebello Drive in Gilroy for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • William Kenville, 52, Feb. 8 at 12:59 a.m. near the 5900 block of Hecker Pass in Gilroy for possession of marijuana for sale.
  • Rafael Marquez, 32, Feb. 5 at 11:21 p.m. near the intersection of First Street and Westwood Drive in Gilroy for possession of methamphetamines and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • Frank Martinez, 29, Jan. 27 at 3:36 p.m. near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Sixth Street in Gilroy for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Under the influence

  • John Campa, 63, Feb. 7 at 11:56 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Welburn Avenue in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Police initiated a traffic stop on Campa for riding his bike on the wrong side of the roadway. Police say Campa had dilated pupils, high pulse rates and a white, pasty substance on his tongue. Campa was arrested and booked into the main jail in San Jose.
  • Roberta Sambrano, 46, Feb. 7 at 12:14 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Eighth Street in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • Samantha Lokua, 18, Feb. 6 at 8:59 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Monterey Street in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • Paul Lumbard, 45, Feb. 3 at 10:56 p.m. near the intersection of Uvas Park Drive and Laurel Drive in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jesse Gonzales, 42, Feb. 3 at 3:52 p.m. near the 8300 block of Kelton Drive in Gilroy for possession of methamphetamine and altering the appearance of an imitation Colt 1911 handgun to make it look more realistic.

Unlawful possession of nunchakus

  • Kenneth Eugene, 21, Feb. 6 at 7:38 p.m. near the 10000 block of New Avenue in Gilroy for unlawful possession of nunchakus. A police officer was dispatched to a call of a suspicious person at 10475 New Avenue in Gilroy. Eugene told the officer he had nunchakus in his waistband. Eugene told the officer he was using the nunchakus to break into the back residence at 10475 New Avenue to retrieve his belongings that were inside. Eugene was arrested and booked into the main jail in San Jose.

Unlawful weapon

  • Elliott Hayes, 28, Feb. 6 at 12:42 a.m. near the intersection of Mantelli Drive and Santa Teresa Boulevard in Gilroy. After enforcing a vehicle stop on Hayes’ car, police discovered a collapsible baton in the car near Hayes’ left foot.

Vandalism

  • Unknown suspects, Feb. 9 at 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Paseo Vista Avenue and Paseo Avenue in San Martin for vandalism. The suspects damaged the mailboxes of four victims at an estimated value of $250 to $350. The suspects also knocked over several garbage cans and a real estate sign. The suspects are still at large.
  • Unknown suspects, Feb. 1 at 12:01 a.m. near the 6200 block of Frazier Lake Road in Gilroy for causing an estimated $1,000 in damage to a bank-owned property. The suspects are still at large.
