GILROY – Mark Guajardo went 4-for-4 and scored three runs as Trevino Brothers Construction opened the Men’s Fall DD League season with a 9-8 victory over SVCC Sons of Thunder on Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.

Steve Murnin went 3-for-3 and Chad King slapped the decisive RBI-single in the sixth to plate Guajardo.

Rick Chavez managed a triple, double and single for the Sons of Thunder.

New Hope Community Church used a three-hit explosion from Ryan Mull to top the Gilroy Honda Pilots 16-2.

Mull hit a lead-off home run in the first, added an RBI-single in the second before igniting an eight-run rally in the fourth with a triple. Steve Eddy stroked a triple, double and single for the winners. Jeffrey DiDomenico hit an RBI-single and scored on a Dion Walker double for the Honda Pilots.

Claddagh Brew Crew struck for three runs in the bottom of the fifth to earn an 8-6 win over Mangia La Pizza.

Mike Keith lined an RBI-triple to make it 6-6, scoring the go-ahead marker on a Rick Hoiberg single. Joey Hoiberg scored two Brew runs. Mark Diagiovani hit a two-run homer and two singles for Mangia La Pizza.

Jorge Landeros and Jesus Begines each scored three runs to lead Gaeta’s Ballers by Gilroy Chaos 16-10 in the Co-Rec B opener Thursday at Las Animas Park.

Melissa Taku and Addison Quach each drove in three Gaeta’s runs. Mike Reyes and Denart Silveira each homered for Gilroy Chaos.

Art Tomasetti collected four hits and scored four runs as Gamers In Control defeated Blackout Window Tinting 19-8. Danny Rubio went 4-for-4 for Blackout.

Julian Castaneda and Mark Terrill each homered to spark JR’s Crew past Out To Play 14-6. Chris Filice homered and Art Naranjo went 3-for-4 and scored two Play runs.

Chaos Crazee 8’s moved to 2-0 atop the Co-Rec C standings Sunday with a 4-3 edging of Team FTW. Maciel Urenda tripled and singled, scoring twice, to pace the league leaders. Michael Chavez doubled and singled with one RBI for 1-1 Team FTW.

Maureen Hughes keyed a three-run eighth inning with an RBI-single as the Big Kahunas topped Anritsu 14-12. Lindsey Patejdl and Brett Scott each notched four Kahunas hits. Cindy Ngo and Andy Alarcon each scored two Anritsu runs.

Joseph Tovar drove in eight runs with a home run and two doubles as Hi-Energy Networks defeated Rush Order 22-4. Andrew Mokres homered and Bobby Granados went 2-for-3 for Rush Order.

Victor Rodriguez homered and doubled to highlight a 15-10 Here We Go Quickly win over Gilroy Vet. Greg Martinez powered a triple and two singles for Gilroy Vet.
