TCAL Cross Country Championships
The Tri-County Athletic League Cross Country Championships are today at Toro Park in Salinas. Actually, the TCAL will share the course with the Monterey Bay League.
The schedule for the TCAL is as follows: 9:30am, frosh/soph boys; 10:30am, frosh/soph and JV girls; 11:30am, JV boys; 1230pm, varsity girls, and 1:30pm, varsity boys.
TCAL Award Ceremonies will be at approximately 2:30pm.
Indoor Soccer
Gilroy – Barcelona’s 6-2 win over Miami Vice at Gilroy High School brought the regular season of the Latinos Program Indoor Soccer Tournament to a conclusion.
In quarterfinal round playoff games this week, Real Madrid edged TSS 4-3, Club Brazil defeated Chelsea FC 4-1 and FC United got past Barcelona 5-3.
The final quarterfinal game Monday pits Tubbies against Joanna with championship games the rest of the week. This is the 11th tournament staged by the Latinos Program.
