Gavilan College

Gavilan College women’s basketball announced the signing of four players to four-year universities. The playoff qualifying team did so thanks in no small part to the four players who helped solidify one of the stand out seasons for the Rams, but also helped to usher in a new group of freshmen who will take over the program next year as sophomores.

Despite trailing 11 points at the break, the Gavilan women's basketball team didn't give up.

Gavilan was within five points at halftime of Wednesday's Coast Conference opener against Mission, but the second half just escaped them. 

Chris Read led all scorers with 17 points, and Ohlone College’s men’s basketball team took advantage of size mismatches all over the floor on its way to a 74-48 victory at Gavilan College on Friday night in Bud Ottmar Memorial Gym.
