Jimmie Lopez, Ricardo Bribiescas and John Riffle all took home individual titles en route to propelling the Christopher High wrestling team to a second-place finish at its home tournament Saturday at the second annual Bert Mar Invitational.

Two games, 14 goals and two Tri-County Athletic League victories. Sounds about right.

Lorenzo Vasquez’s header in the 69th minute propelled the Alisal Trojans to a 3-2 triumph over Gilroy High, spoiling the Mustangs’ Tri-County Athletic League debut Thursday night in Gilroy.
