Christopher's Shane Suttles, Evan Shapiro and Zach Fishler have helped lead the Cougars all season, while Gilroy's Zach Loo, Josiah Wiley, Chris Chang, Travis Moulden and Hector Perez did the same for the Mustangs. All were recognized for their efforts Saturday with postseason honors.
FOOTBALL: Sobrato defeats Christopher in season opener, 38-19
Sobrato established a three-score first-half advantage and held off host Christopher High 38-19 in front of a spirited crowd at Garcia-Elder Sports Complex on Friday night in Gilroy.
