GILROY—The score of the Christopher and Gilroy volleyball game was quickly forgotten by the players Thursday night. After the match, Cougars and Mustangs talked, laughed and posed for pictures together and for the seniors, the evening was bittersweet.

Emma Morley and Carly McPolin scored one goal each to lead Christopher High’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 home win over Watsonville on Tuesday.

Bryant Cid was a busy man on Tuesday. 

The Gilroy High football program will hold its first day of practice for all incoming freshman at 5:15 p.m. Monday.
