The Gavilan College women's volleyball team led host San Joaquin Delta College for much of Game 1 during the teams' first round matchup of the Northern California Regional playoffs Tuesday night in Stockton.

Football coaches from the Monterey Bay League and the Tri-County Athletic League met Wednesday and voted on the placement of the leagues' teams in next year's equity league.
