Community Solutions, a private non-profit agency serving south Santa Clara County and surrounding areas, will present a Women’s Wellness Fair at the El Toro Conference Room in the Morgan Hill Community Center in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2004.

The fair will be bilingual and will feature service providers from Santa Clara and San Benito counties presenting information on various women’s issues. Health and living topics covered will include self-care, parenting, budgeting, self-defense and healthy relationships. Domestic violence survivors will also share their experiences. Childcare is provided and their will be contests for prizes and other fun activities.

“This is a very important event,” said Community Solutions director Perla Flores. “Although domestic violence takes place year-round, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month provides an added impetus for raising awareness regarding issues of abuse and the services that are available.”

The El Toro Conference Room is located at the Morgan Hill Community Center, 17000 Monterey Rd., Morgan Hill. For more information, contact Perla Flores at (408) 846-4763.
