Two Morgan Hill teens suffered injuries that required hospitalization following a fight that could have been gang-related, police said.
About 11:50 p.m. Friday, police received a call that a “large fight” was occurring in the midst of a party at a home on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue, according to Rick Sung, Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office spokesman .
While deputies and Morgan Hill police were processing the scene for the investigation, police received a call from Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, reporting two emergency room patients had checked in with apparently fight-related injuries, Sung said.
One of the hospitalized victims had been stabbed multiple times, and the other one had been hit with a baseball bat, Sung said. The injuries were not life-threatening, and both were in “stable” condition Monday.
Both victims are in their late-teens, and are males from Morgan Hill, police said. Authorities declined to release their names. The incident is still under investigation.
