Gilroy High School students showed off their muscles and talents at the Free Press’ first male beauty pageant Saturday. Senior Scott Charvet was named Mr. Gilroy and received a free tuxedo rental from Dick Bruhn’s ‘A Man’s Store.’ The theater was filled to about 75 percent capacity during the fundraiser. The $850 raised will pay for various newspaper expenses including printing costs, new technology and memory cards for cameras.
