Dear Editor:
Being a student at Gilroy High, I am disappointed in the negative articles that are always in The Dispatch about my school. The Dispatch mainly focuses on the downside of Gilroy High School, and overlooks all the accomplishments and achievements students have made.
Gilroy High is an awesome school with great students and teachers, including Mr. Meeker, who did nothing wrong by allowing students to perform mature skits in the showcase.
I’m sure that those who attend or work at GHS do not appreciate The Dispatch publishing articles on the negative aspects of GHS. Instead The Dispatch should recognize Gilroy High for the fantastic sport achievements, a great choir and an awesome theater program. I’m proud to be a student at Gilroy High. It is a great school and deserves more credit instead of being put down all the time.
