on the 1000 block of Rucker Avenue in Gilroy and stole multiple
firearms, according the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
Three male suspects entered a residence at about 9 p.m. Sunday on the 1000 block of Rucker Avenue in Gilroy and stole multiple firearms, according the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

Sgt. Rick Sung said the suspects, who wore ski masks and gloves at the time of the incident, tied up the victim who was home alone and managed to get the combination to the safe where the victim was storing his firearms.

According to Sung, the suspects also stole the victim’s truck, which was recovered Monday morning by the California Highway Patrol in the area of Highway 9 and Highway 35.

Sung described the suspects as three Hispanic males between the ages of 25 to 30, all wearing dark clothes at the time of the incident. He said no arrests have been made.

Sheriff’s deputies and investigators currently working at the scene, according to Sung.

He said the victim suffered nonlife threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he is being treated.
