In 1959, Sylvia and Joseph moved to Riverside, California, where they continued to raise four of their children. Upon arriving in California, Sylvia, along with her family and children, found a new love, traveling and camping. Sylvia also loved sewing and playing the accordion. In 1960, along with her family, Sylvia moved to Santa Clara, California, where her fifth child was born. Sylvia was the consummate homemaker and devoted her entire life to her family, raising five children. Her love and devotion to raising her children was the center of her life and all of her family will forever be grateful.
