Fall may be the season for pumpkin-spiced everything, but it’s also a time for wine, thanks to the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley’s 2015 Fall Passport Weekend.
On Nov. 6-8, passport holders can enjoy wine tastings, winery tours and special VIP treatment at over 25 different wineries along the Santa Clara Valley Wine Trail in the South Valley. Passports are $35 and can be purchased at any participating winery or at the Gilroy Welcome Center at 8155 Arroyo Circle, Suite 6.
Each winery offers a unique tasting experience, and many will provide live entertainment, food and special discounts for Passport guests. Each passport holder also gets a souvenir wine glass.
And for the first time, Fall Passport Weekend will also include a special Friday night tasting event on Nov. 6 at Morgan Hill Community Center featuring pourings by Clos La Chance Winery, Jason-Stephens Winery, Lion Ranch Vineyard & Winery, Medeiros Family Winery and Miramar Winery.
Wineries participating in the Passport Weekend include Aver Family Vineyards, Casa de Fruta Winery, Castillo’s Hillside Shire, Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards, Creekview Vineyards, Fortino Winery, Guglielmo Winery, Hecker Pass Winery, J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines (at Rosy’s at the Beach), Kirigin Cellars, Lightheart Cellars, Mann Cellars (at Rosy’s at the Beach), Martin Ranch Winery, Morgan Hill Cellars, Rapazzini Winery, Ross Vineyards and Winery, Sarah’s Vineyard, Satori Cellars, Seeker Vineyard, Solis Winery, Stefania Wine, and Sunlit Oaks.
