Teresa F. Valdez passed away in San Jose on March 4, 2008. She was 75.
Mrs. Valdez was a native of San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her children Socorro (Jose) Alfaro of Gilroy, Rosie (Ernie) Lopez of Gilroy,
Trinidad “Gord ” Valdez, Jr. of Gilroy, Ernestine “Tina” Valdez of Gilroy,
Bertha Valdez of Gilroy, Mary Valdez. of Gilroy, Vincent (Rita) Valdez of Gilroy, Christine (Ray) Moss, Jr. of Morgan Hill, Andres Valdez of San Jose, Bobby Valdez of Gilroy, Elsie (Octavio) Hernandez of Glendale, AZ.
She is the sister of Guadalupe “Lupe” Huerta of Sacramento, Selcita Davila of San Antonio, Texas, Juan Fernandez of San Antonio, TX. Sister-in-law of Elidora Rios of Gilroy and Mary Fernandez of San Antonio, Texas. Grandmother of Jose Jr. and Theresita Alfaro, Ernie T. Lopez, Jr, John Lopez, Rosie Lopez, Evelyn Hudson, Fernando Murillo, Jr., Liz Murillo, Rudy Lopez, Jr., Sarah Lopez, Katrina and Serena Valdez, Ashley T. Moss, Andy Valdez, Jr., Brianna Valdez, Hannah Valdez, Robert Valdez, Jr. , Angelo Valdez, Rolando Martinez, Jr., and Samantha Martinez. She was great-grandmother to Lorenzo J. Lopez, Austin, Noah and Trina Hudson, Jonathan Troncoso, Ava Pineda, Kayla Murillo, Gabriella Gonzalez, Gabriel and Emmanual Aguayo and Vincent Butero.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Trinidad Sr, her son Gabriel her brother Domingo Fernandez and sister-in-law Yolanda Fernandez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Mar. 7, 2008 from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, in Gilroy. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 2:00 P.M. at South Valley Community Church, 8095 Kelton Dr., in Gilroy. Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, in Gilroy.
