), however I need to point out that my wife and I are the
parents of six children (not five); five (not four) graduated from
Gilroy High School.

Thank you for the kind words in your editorial of Aug. 10 (“Good News, Bad News”), however I need to point out that my wife and I are the parents of six children (not five); five (not four) graduated from Gilroy High School.
Our last child attended Gilroy public schools through middle school but attended Presentation High School (San Jose) because Gilroy High School did not offer honors classes at that time. Thankfully, GHS offers honors classes today.
We also have three grandchildren; one will be starting Kindergarten in a few weeks in Gilroy, and one more the year after.
