Whether they’ve got feathers, fur, scales or long ears, local pets and their owners are invited to attend a Halloween costume party Oct. 19 at PetSmart in Gilroy.
The gathering will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. inside the store, which is located at 6755 Camino Arroyo inside the Gilroy Crossing shopping center.
All animals must be in costume and children are welcome to join the fun and dress up too. The event will feature games, treats, popcorn and, for the first 50 pets in costume, goodie bags (containing treats and coupons for cats and dogs).
There will also be $1 raffle tickets, with all proceeds going towards PetSmart charities. The raffle prize is a large Halloween gift basket stuffed with toys, treats, Greenies, cookies, bones, a garden flag and a $10 off coupon for pet training.
