Three students from Gilroy High School have been awarded
scholarships from the Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area
Scholarship Program.
Three students from Gilroy High School have been awarded scholarships from the Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area Scholarship Program, which will be awarding 152 students across the Bay Area with $1,000 scholarships during a special awards ceremony at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at the South San Francisco Conference Center.

The three recipients from GHS include Gerilyn Moon – who is currently attending Biola University – along with Colin Shew and Kevin Wookeon Lee, two GHS seniors attending Stanford University in the fall.

Scholarships are awarded to students who display educational excellence, outstanding community involvement and financial need, according to a press release.
