Goldsmith’s Seeds claimed the first-half Women’s C title by defeating M&M’s 16-9 in a tiebreaker game Monday. Sally Hernandez hit a two-run single to highlight an eight-run sixth inning for the Seeds. Emily Hernandez stroked a single, double and triple. Becky Obbema hit a run-scoring triple for M&M’s.
New Hope Community Church turned back Help U Sell Real Estate 11-8 Monday in a Men’s EE showdown. Clark Poulsen homered and Dave Medina posted a single and double as New Hope earned a place in the Men’s E League for the second half. Jaime Rosso and JoJo Gallego hit home runs for Help U Sell.
Alladin Bail Bonds-Rhino Wiring won the first-half Men’s CC title with a 5-1 record by topping Windsor Plumbing 12-4 Monday at Las Animas Park. Scott Rader clubbed a three-run home run and Johnny Andretti and Ian Hanley each went 3-for-4 as Aladdin-Rhino earned a spot in the BB League for the second half. David Jackson went 3-for-3 for Windsor Plumbing.
John DeCarlo Jr. went 3-for-4 and scored four runs to propel Countryside Daycare Center to a 22-11 win over Las Animas Sweepers. Eric Peterson socked a three-run homer. Gabe Rodriguez and Joe Lovecchio each went 3-for-4 for the Sweepers.
