SALINAS – Everything went as planned for the Gilroy High boys and girls varsity track teams at the Tri-County Athletic League Trials at North Salinas High School on Tuesday as most of the Mustangs’ top performers advanced to Friday’s league finals, head coach Jeff Myers said.
Athletes must finish in the top nine to advance.
Senior Sarah Una Dia qualified first in both the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles and qualified second behind teammate Lindsey Foster in the long jump.
