Christopher High Track and Field

Allison Foster won the 300-meter hurdles and placed in two other events to help Christopher High’s girls track and field team tie for fifth place in the K-Bell Invitational on Saturday at Los Gatos High.

Foster won the 300 hurdles in 48.04 seconds, and placed fourth in the triple jump at 33 feet, 4 1/4 inches and fifth in the 100 hurdles in 16.18.

Christopher’s Haley Romero took third in the girls long jump with a mark of 16-9 1/2, and teammate Kaelin Sylva set a school record in the girls pole vault at 9-0.

The Cougars’ Brian Pipkin took sixth in the boys pole vault at 12-6, and Jordan Rodriguez set a Christopher freshmen record in the 100 (11.83) and 200 (24.26).
