Morgan Hill police arrested a man and a woman for drug-related charges in a routine parole compliance check last Thursday.
Morgan Hill Police Special Operations visited the home of Sean McCullough, 37, who was on state parole, Sgt. Jerry Neumayer said. A search of the home found about four grams of methamphetamine and drug sales-related paraphernalia, including scales, plastic baggies and glass pipes. Police also seized about $3,000 in cash.
McCullough was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of parole and violation of probation, Neumayer said.
Also arrested at the home was Constance Krischan, 44, of Morgan Hill. She was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Both suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Jail, Neumayer said.
The arrests resulted from a citywide compliance check of local residents on parole and probation that lasted throughout the morning Dec. 10. McCullough was the only parolee that authorities contacted in the sweep, Neumayer said.
