Plea hearings for two men accused of sexually assaulting different young girls in Morgan Hill were postponed Tuesday.
The new court date for Santy Robillos, 45 of Tracy, is Nov. 23 at South County Courthouse. Robillos is accused of repeatedly molesting a Morgan Hill girl who was about 6 or 7 years old at the time of the alleged incidents, police said.
The crimes allegedly happened in 2000 and 2002, and Robillos’ arrest is based on an investigation that started in April, police said. He was arrested Sept. 20 by Morgan Hill and Tracy police, at his home in Tracy.
Robillos was a family friend at the time of the incidents and lived with the girl’s family in Morgan Hill, police said. During the investigation, police also determined that a neighbor of the victim, who was 9 years old at the time, was also sexually assaulted by Robillos.
The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office charged him with four counts of lewd and lascivious acts against a child younger than 14.
In a separate case launched by unrelated police investigations, Juan Fabian-Garcia was also in court Tuesday, but his plea hearing was postponed until Dec. 7 at South County Courthouse.
Garcia, 18, was arrested Sept. 29 at his home in Gilroy after a 12-year-old girl reported to police that he sexually assaulted her, police said. Fabian-Garcia allegedly assaulted the girl the previous weekend at a party near Hill Road and San Pedro Avenue in Morgan Hill.
He is charged with one count of lewd or lascivious act on a child younger than 14.
Both suspects remain in Santa Clara County custody.
