DEAR EDITOR:
Let us pray that the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and the San Jose City Council does not start giving out bogus marriages licenses as is being done in San Francisco. They are bogus because it is against state law, against the will of the people of California, and against the morality of God. Really, those officials in San Francisco should be arrested.
Practicing homosexuality is a sin. The Bible is clear that sex outside of marriage between one man and one woman is wrong. Many folks don’t wish to accept this truth but it is an eternal truth, nonetheless. Even non-Christian societies, throughout the world and throughout the ages, recognize that homosexuality is wrong.
The officials of Santa Clara County should stand up for honor and morality, not the acceptance of an immoral lifestyle. Do any of them have the courage to do so?
Many scientific studies verify, and some interesting ones concerning twins, that homosexuality is something that is learned and not inherited. Further, many former homosexuals have changed and now lead happy and fulfilled heterosexual lives. The liberal media won’t tell this. Our local leaders should encourage homosexuals to leave this lifestyle which many other studies show is destructive. Destructive in terms of higher morality, higher substance abuse, higher disease rates, loneliness, usually constantly changing of partners, and more. It is known that children are best raised by two parents and that being a man and his wife. It is time our leaders help all people by supporting the traditional family.
If the homosexuals succeed in having their relationships recognized as marriages, what next? We all know what is next. Polygamy will need to be recognized, bestiality, child/adult relationships, and what other perversions there may be. Of course, all in the name of love and consent. When will our local leaders stand up for what is right?
