Cody Wilson went 3-for-3, Cesar Sepulveda drove in four runs with a home run and single, and Danny Melendez turned two singles into three runs for VFW Vets.
Gabriel Hernandez went 4-for-5 with a home run and Eddie Garza and Jarrod Hernandez each went 3-for-4 for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
Steve Arriaga and Daniel Salinas each homered as Bad News stopped K’s Dogs 21-6.
Ricky Salinas and Art Naranjo each went 3-for-3 and scored three Bad News runs. Jess Lopez Jr. powered a home run and two triples for K’s Dogs.
Blackout Window Tinting opened the Men’s DD League season Tuesday at Las Animas Park with an 18-17 edging of Sign Creations.
Alex Pena hit two homers in a 4-for-5 night and Gabe Corral added a three-run shot for the Tinters. Anthony Corral and Jason Corral each posted four Blackout hits. Anthony Elizondo and Anthony Gaetani delivered home runs for Sign Creations.
Moses Guerrero Jr. and Frank Crue each went 3-for-3 for Sign Creations.
Kurt Maltman powered five hits and Mario Razo hit a two-run home run
to highlight a 32-11 Hitmen victory over God’s Gangsters.
Russ Black and Maltman each scored five Hitmen runs. James Jimenez went 2-for-2 and scored three Gangster markers.
Daniel Fellows hit two home runs and two doubles to lead the Loco Boys by the Assassins 26-10.
Kyle Kretz roped a grand slam and Jim Castaneda cracked a three-run homer for the Loco Boys. Luis Gamez drove in four Assassin runs with a single and triple.
Teto Flores launched two home runs and Isaiah Gonzales, Lupe Lemus and Jose Serrano added one apiece as Cosa Nostra defeated Fine Line Painting 15-3. Sean Bollin went 3-for-3 and John Day added two hits for Fine Line Painting.
Meanwhile, Feather Haven Mill opened the 2005 adult softball program Sunday afternoon with an 11-5 victory over California Chop Shop in Co-Rec B League play at Las Animas Park.
Jenny Szyndrowski went 3-for-3, Mike Leslie clubbed a three-run home run and RBI-single, and Cherie Somavia popped a two-run double for the Millers. K. C. Adams went 3-for-3 and Ed Gamboa and Liz Talavera had three hits each for the Chop Shop.
