The Gilroy High girls varsity volleyball team kicked off a three-match week with two straight wins Monday and Tuesday.

The Mustangs dropped just one set during the two game span in which they defeated North Monterey County 3-1 and swept Monterey 3-0.

Demornay Granado had three aces and three blocks Tuesday against Monterey, while Gabby Flores and Randi Groppe ripped six and seven kills, respectively.

The Mustangs and Christopher High (2-2) meet Thursday at GHS.
