Christian McCrimon, a senior at Anchorpoint Christian High
School, was selected as the winner of the first annual Central
Coast Section Athletic Directors Association Scholarship.
GILROY – Christian McCrimon, a senior at Anchorpoint Christian High School, was selected as the winner of the first annual Central Coast Section Athletic Directors Association Scholarship. The award was presented at the CCSADA Awards Breakfast on May 6.
The scholarship was established to honor outstanding student-athletes who played three varsity sports. Additionally, the applicants were evaluated on their character, community service and their experience of overcoming personal challenges in their lives.
McCrimon lettered in football, basketball and baseball the past two years at Anchorpoint. He was named Coastal Athletic League MVP in football after scoring 30 touchdowns for the league champion Warriors this past season. He also made the Dean’s List in recognition of his work in the classroom.
McCrimon plans to attend Bethany University in the fall.
