I want to thank store Manager’s Alex Spino and Joseph Medley of Lowe’s in Gilroy for kindly helping to provide our Webelos den with wood to build worm boxes.
After a fantastic evening with Jim Baggesse of Gilroy who taught the group about the natural process of composting and gave them an opportunity to handle worms and worm castings (heaven for 9- and 10-year-old boys), the den built their own worm boxes.
Without Lowe’s help, the den would not have been able to complete this project. So thank you Lowe’s!
