Annual Gilroy City Junior Golf Tourney starts Tuesday
GILROY – The annual Gilroy City Junior Golf Tournament held is only a week away and sign-ups are currently underway for the three-courses-in-three-days event.

It is open to any junior golfer under 17-years old who possess the knowledge, skills and etiquette of the game. Registration is $40 and it includes golf, tee prizes, awards and a Thursday lunch.

The action starts up July 13 at Eagle Ridge Golf Course, then moves to Gavilan Golf Course for round two, and culminates at Gilroy Golf Course for the final round.

Last year’s overall champion was Jami Binowski. Division winners were: Thomas Hoshida for ages 15 and older; Binowski in 13-14; Gene Park for ages 11-12; Ben Hartl in 9-under; and Kristen Campos in girls division.
