As a Wal-Mart associate, I am very excited to hear we’re trying to build a better store. I don’t understand why some people are negative about this.
I’ve worked here going on 10 years. I spend more time here than at my home, and this really is my second home. A lot of places wouldn’t give me a chance, but Wal-Mart did. My daughter even recently got a college scholarship through Wal-Mart’s scholarship fund for associates.
Wal-Mart gives me great benefits – people are lying who say otherwise. I get lots of vacation and sick time. Everybody knows me and trusts me here. This store has given me more than any other job. I am so grateful.
