Three months after the July 5 accidental shooting of a 3-year-old Gilroy boy and son of a San Jose Police officer shook the community, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office announced they are not prosecuting the boy's parents.
Following a two-week period in which Gilroy was without a fire chief after the former interim fire stepped down Sept. 9 because he was arrested for giving alcohol to a minor, the City has appointed a new interim fire chief.
This summer my husband Steve became a tomato evangelist. Every day when I come home, I find him out in the garden, communing with his tomato plants.
