Ahead of the 2016 US Women’s Open to be played at CordeValle in San Martin, the USGA is hosting a Tee Off the 10th event in Downtown Morgan Hill as tickets for the tournament will become available Saturday.
There will be live music with food and beverages to a free event being held at the Popup Park on Third Street and Monterey Road from 4 to 8:30 p.m.
Fans will also have a chance to enter a contest to be awarded the first reserve badge that will be good for all four days of the tournament, plus admission to the all three days leading up to the first tee. Tickets will go on sale for the general public starting at 10:10 p.m.
Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson will help kick things off and will speak to the crowd at 4 p.m.
The 2016 US Women’s Open will be held July 7-10. This will be the first time the tournament will be held in California in 30 years.
