Louie Bobadilla and Isaiah Gonzalez hit consecutive homers early in the sixth inning to ignite the Outlaws offense. Don Rose and Josh Gonzalez added consecutive homers with two out in the sixth to complete the scoring.
The win left the Outlaws tied with Trevino Brothers Construction at 4-0 for the top spot in the eight-team league. The Eagles slipped to 3-1. Jesus Perez singled and doubled for the Eagles.
Matt Tate cracked a three-run home run and Darren Wall provided a two-run poke to propel Trevino Brothers past the Assassins 25-9.
Chris Vigilante went 4-for-4 and Skip Yenchik 4-for-5 to lead the Trevino Brothers offense. Vigilante scored four runs. Mike Hernandez, Rudy Maquinalez and Rudy Tamez each went 2-for-3 for the Assassins.
Pacific Coast Bail Bonds turned back New Hope Community Church 21-14. John Perez cuffed a two-run single as Pacific Coast struck for eight runs in the fifth inning. Ed Lujan went 4-for-5 for the winners. John Langer went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for New Hope Community Church.
Women’s B
Stubby’s Girls advanced to 4-0 in Women’s B League competition Tuesday with a 16-5 nod over Goldsmith Seeds at Christmas Hill Park.
Nikki Thompson swatted two home runs and Jen McBain went 4-for-5 for the winners. Esmeralda Hernandez went 3-for-3 for Goldsmith Seeds.
Margene Peterson scored four runs to help 3-1 Williams Dental Lab past Don’s Vending 14-8.
Monica Pantoja and Celia Bonilla each collected three singles for Williams Dental. Liz Talavera went 4-for-4 and Liz Adams and Laurie Dixon each added three hits apiece to the Don’s Vending offense.
