GILROY – Chet Steengiente’s 715 series and 290 high game led the way during league action at the Gilroy Bowl, while Jolene Furuya (602 series, 225 high) paced the women’s field and Rudy Escobedo (6545 series, 267 high) best the senior’s field.

Also cracking the 700 mark were bowlers Steve Noreiga finished up with a 703 three-game set (246 high) and Daniel Phillips concluded with a 715 series (255 high).

Rounding out the men’s division were: Jess Salazar (687, 254); Del Corral (680, 279); Tom Alegre (687); Kirki Tuckness (644, 235); Steve McWilliams (277); Romeo Naranjo (672, 269); and Mark Griswald (639, 266).

Keeping the pressure on in the women’s division were: Noni Haygood (580, 266), Elaine Hawamoto (572, 203); Tracy Nelson (605, 223); Tammy Lewis (694, 257); Betty Masuen (662, 226); Barbara Fahey (594, 215).

Lee Quartiero bowled a 619 three-game series with a 235 high game in the senior’s division.
