DEAR EDITOR:
A few days ago, I saw a dark red pickup truck with lights and a
siren driving down the street. Is this our new fire engine? That
pick-up is ridiculous.

A few days ago, I saw a dark red pickup truck with lights and a siren driving down the street. Is this our new fire engine? That pick-up is ridiculous.
I also heard that it was the first vehicle to a fire this week and the firefighters could do nothing until the real fire engine arrived.
If this is what we are getting for fire protection in the northwest quad, then the City Council should re-think who they want running this city and its fire department.
