This past weekend the Mitey Mites, Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees for
the Gilroy Browns of Pop Warner Football all played in Oakland on
Saturday.
OAKLAND – This past weekend the Mitey Mites, Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees for the Gilroy Browns of Pop Warner Football all played in Oakland on Saturday.
The Mitey Mites played a strong game. All the kids played really hard from start to finish. No score is kept at the youngest level.
The Jr. Pee Wee game was a tough defensive battle as neither team could find its was into the end zone. Bryan Sanchez came up with four big sacks.
The Pee Wees won 19-6 behind a two touchdown performance via Richie Sotelo and one from Logan Sweeney. On defense, Greg Hamik had an interception.
The Jr. Midgets defeated Santa Teresa by a 29-0 margin and the Midgets toppled Bayside by a 20-0 spread.
